So, for my last year of school I don't go to class! Isn't that great? I just have to do rotations, take the state and national exam, and I'M DONE! On rotations we have to do presentations, research journal articles, write papers, etc. It's going to be really busy, but NO testing! We have to sign-up for the rotations that sound interesting to us (while encompassing all of the topics required) and it goes through a randomizer...TA DAH. Well, here's my schedule for the next year...
3.1 - Health South Rehabilitation Hospital
(Going to be managing coumadin therapy, and doing med recs for patients)
[05/24/10 - 07/02/10]
3.2 - Utah State Developmental Center
(This is a psychiatric rotation)
[07/05/10 - 08/13/10]
3.3 - Riverton Hospital
(General Medicine rotation; doing rounds with the docs)
[08/16/10 - 09/24/10]
3.4 - McKay Dee Hospital
(NICU rotation)
[09/27/10- 11/05/10]
3.5 - This is my off block. I get 11/08/10 - 12/17/10 off PLUS the two weeks off for Christmas Break :)
3.6 - Intermountain Medical Center
(Solid Organ Transplant; transplant patients have TONS of medications afterward aka: up to around 30 medications)
[01/03/11 - 02/11/11]
3.7 - Smith's
(This is the only stupid one I have. We HAVE to do an "advanced community" rotation...lame) [02/14/11 - 03/25/11]
3.8 SLVHD - South Main Public Health Center
(This is a clinic that doesn't have an on staff pharmacist. ALL me. I have to know everything. Good thing this one is last.)
[03/28/11 - 05/06/11]
After this, we just have the senior banquet and graduation! Only 4 more tests this year, and then I'm done with them until the national and state exams :) It's going to be great!
Almost there...
