Dinner, Basil, and a Movie...twice.

So, I've been in primary for a year with my little sunbeams and because I've been in primary, I don't know anyone in the ward except my sunbeams parents. It's not a bad thing that I know them, just a bad thing I don't really know anyone else. So, lucky for me, last week Sister Thelin asked us over for dinner the next Sunday. We went over yesterday, and it was so so so much fun! I really like them a lot! She made lasagna and put fresh basil on the top..SO GOOD! I think my jacket is going to smell like basil forever, but it was so worth it. She has a little boy named Oliver, and he is so cute :)
The rest of the weekend went well as usual. Joel and I went to Heber for practice on Saturday and it was snowing up a storm. Poor Mike. On his way to Heber, he hit a patch of ice and ran into the barrier in provo canyon. Not only did he destroy his brand new bumper, a cop drove by and gave him a ticket for not controlling the car on a mountain road! WHAT?! What does that even mean? He got a ticket for hitting black ice. Stupid cops. Hate cops.

Joel and I went and saw PUSH twice this weekend...I confess..I love it! It was such a cool movie! I know it got bad reviews, but I just love it!
Not really anything else going on. I'm sick with a stupid cough and really hoping it's going away soon. Most importantly, Joel has his audition for the Music Major program at the U on the 28th! Keep your fingers crossed! Just kidding. I'm sure that he is going to do amazing! He is going to love taking classes in a subject he has such a passion for :) I'm so happy for him!
