Month of July

I know this looks long, but it is ALL PICTURES :)

July will filled with a LOT of time with my wonderful Hayford family! LOVE THEM SO MUCH! They came and stayed at my house twice, and we also went to parker's birthday party at Lagoon :)

Next, Spencer had SO many lacrosse camps! I just love lacrosse! He is just so good at it I love to go and watch him play :)

We also had an amazing weekend with the Powers going to Flaming Gorge! I totally think that we need to go boating with them more often! They are the best :) LOVE THEM!

That was July! Obviously not all we did, but ones I got picture of. I'll do August soon :)

Summer Post 1 - Kitten Caboodle

Okay, I'm going to be honest. I'm really bad at this blogging thing. So, our summer is going to be put into a few posts.

First, I'll start off with an awesome story. So. I woke up one morning and looked over at our window well and saw something dark move in there...I'm thinking "CRAP! We have rats or something". I hurredly put my glasses on to see what was in there, and it turned out to be a cat. Oh, so big deal, right? I just tapped on the window, shooed it away and didn't think anything of it. The next week, Joel said he saw a cat in the window well and tapped on the window to get rid of it and it ran away. I thought that was a little weird. The next day, Joel saw it again and tapped on the window...didn't budge. Next morning the cat is still there, we look in, and this is what we saw...

This is just a few days after they were born. After a while we came up with names for them :) We have Sargeant - he has a black diagonal line on his face like a burret - and Pepper - he has black spots on his face. They were in our window well for about 2 months, and then the mother abandoned them...after about 3 days we figured she wasn't coming back. We took them to the Humaine Society. One of them actually got pretty sick, and we were just really grateful we got them there when we did. I loved them a lot, even though I hate cats. It was really fun to watch them grow, and Joel and I will accidentally look in the window well to check on them every now and again. I miss them :( They were so cute!

Sargeant before she got sick.

Pepper days before the Humaine Society

On the way to the Humaine Society

I would post some pictures of Sargeant on the way, but it makes me cry every time I see it :(
I'm glad that they are somewhere safe now! LOVE YOU SARGEANT AND PEPPER!

So we thought we should update.

We just wanted to post an update on our blog.  Once again, I don't feel it important for the rest of you to know what is going on in our private life, I will lower my defenses, give in to this posting thing just this one time.  I repeat, just this one time, from this point on, I will attempt to update you on our current situation.  So hang on tight here we go.

Jess and I are just fine.

There you have it, have a good day.

Olivia Areli Olsen

Today is my little Sobrina's birthday! This was Olivia on her birthday 1 year ago. She is the sweetest, most beautiful little girl in the whole world! I can't believe that she's 2 years old already! I remember Areli being pregnant, and the day that she was born! Now she's 2 years old, and has quite the personality :) I just wanted to give a shout out to my little niece and let her know how much we love her! Happy Birthday OLI!

Love,

Tia Jessica and Tio Jolel ;)

Long time no see...

So, I know that I've been really really bad at keeping up with the blog. Yeah, I know what you're thinking, "two months is really long". I agree. So, just a quick update.

MARCH
I said that I would post some pictures from St. Patrick's day. Here they are:

I get a lot of grief for dressing up being 21 years old, but I JUST LOVE IT! So much fun!

Joel and I also went to St. George for a dance competition, and after that we went to Disneyland!! I'm so obsessed...Joel and I got Season Passes to Disneyland...We're planning on going again in about 2 or 3 weekends. My dad came with us too, and we played so much Toy Story that now we rock at it! :) I just LOVE Disney! We bought another Monopoly, and our current count is 6...I have his awful fetish...I feel that every time that I see a new version of Monopoly I feel that is an entirely new game, and I am drawn to buy it. I have an obsession. Monopoly. Disneyland.

APRIL

Easter was wonderful. No pictures sorry, but Joel did buy me this awesome case for my phone and clip for it. LOVE IT! It is so nice :) I don't ever feel bad because it has this amazingly thick hard case to protect it. I had another competition in April, and it went well.

Joel and I went to one of Spencer's lacrosse games and I can't tell you how fun lacrosse is to watch! He is the best goalie ever! If you ever get a chance to watch a lacrosse game, DO IT!

Wearing Green

I absolutely love St. Patrick's Day! I know that a lot of people only think about this wonderful holiday being a day to drink; however, this is definately the best holiday to dress up! I know that if people actually remember the holiday, they will wear the occasional green shirt, but I do the entire schpeal...5 green shirts layered, 2 green pants, green in my hair, green shoes, green finger and toenails, and green make-up! People always say that I over do the green, but I'm just making up for the lack of everyone else. I do, infact, have Irish ancestors which you can obviously tell by the look of my red hair and white white skin ;) But, I am definately proud of where I came from, and really enjoy the excuse to dress like a leprechaun. So, make sure to drink your green milk, and eat your Lucky Charms. Maybe this will be your lucky day!

*Don't worry! I'll be sure to post the pictures soon :)*
