Some Tagging

My sister Lila tagged me :)

Ten years ago - I was ten years old in the summer before 5th grade.  I don't really remember anything important about this summer though...Joel was 12 in the summer before the big, bad 7th grade.

Five things I would like to get done today - Start painting my living room, get the laundry done, cook dinner for my hubby, clean the bedroom, and unload at least one of the boxes from moving.

Things I would do with $1,000,000 - Donate to cancer research, donate to diabetes research, pay for grad school for Joel and I, maybe buy a house, help finance the building of a temple. ( I think I could only pick one of these, but these are just some ideas )

Places I have lived - Utah (about 8 different houses here); St. Louis, MI ; Boston, MA.  Joel I think has just lived in Utah ;)

I have decided to tag: Jana and Zac , Tia Nancy , Melissa and Brad , Adam and Andrea , and Abby and Mike

Rules of Tagged - Each player answers the questions themselves. At the end of the post the player then tags 5 - 6 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment letting them know that they've been tagged and asking them to read your blog. Let the person who tagged you know when you've posted your answers.

Gas Bubble

So I figured it was about time to finally write another blog, it had been a while, and besides, it was time to do so. As I sit here in deep thought as to what I should write, a sudden pain in my head goes off, and I realize that I'm thinking too hard. Anyway, here's the quick update as to how my honey and I Jess are doing.

Jess and I have had a heck of a month, First off, Jess and I obviously, got a new car after the fiasco that came from our trip to St. George. We got a Scion XB that my wife has graciously named the Toaster, Then for those of you who don't know, my dearest had been sick for quite some time. We really didn't know what was wrong with her, we had gone to a total of about 3 or 4 doctors to see what the blue cheese was going on, but sadly no one really knew. Then for those of you that don't know my sweet heart clogs, and dances in competitions. To be honest she is ranked among the best in the nation as a Female Freestyle Clogger. (I'm not saying that because she's my wife mind you, she really is.) Any who, this past month, we had a few competitions to attend to, and it was a blast to see my wifey compete. She did very well pending the fact that she had been sick for about 2 months prior to the competitions.

Finally we where able to find a specialist that could help my baby feel better, and it turns out that they wanted to take out her gallbladder. So last Monday the 9 of June, Jessica is no longer with a Gallbladder. so right now she's at home recovering. Any who, that's pretty much about it for us this month. Oh yeah, Sara Lee Cheesecake Ice Cream is soooooo Good! Try it, you'll fall in love!

Frustrations and Satisfactions

Well I'm still sick and I'm about to punch any doctor I see square in the nose! I went to the emergency room last week, and the doctor just blew it off as acid reflux and sent me home. He gave me some prescriptions - prilosec for an acid stablizer, promethazine for nausea, and lortab for pain. I will never ever take another lortab while awake again! They make feel so awful, not to mention I forget things on them. Joel told me wewent places and I don't remember a thing. So, a week and a half later I the only thing I can keep down me is mashed potatoes and popcicles. I have severe stomach pain and have never been so dizzy in my life. Joel was sweet and took me back to the doctor's office this morning. The doctor there was at least nice and willing to help. I had some blood work done and an ultra sound to see if everything is okay, but I won't hear back from the radiologist until Monday. In the mean time, I'm just on some stronger promethazine, some protonix, and some tramadol for the pain.

On an awesome note, Joel did so well this semester! He got a 3.58! I'm so proud of him :) He worked so hard this last semester to do well! I owe him a big thanks for being so wonderful, especially since I've been so ill. And my incredibly adorable sobrina, Olivia, turned one on Wednesday! She is so so cute! We love her so much!

sickky and a new car

Well first off, my husband and I bought a new car!  After the accident in St. George, we've been looking for one, and Joel got his dream car. I think it looks like a toaster on wheels, but it runs well and if it makes my honey happy, it makes me happy!! :) We got a Scion XB 06 with 22000 miles on it, and got a great deal from a nice guy who just wanted to get rid of it.  It's silver and surprisingly roomy!  I really do love it!
Secondly, I've been really sick for the past 4 days, and it's getting old really fast. My ears haven't popped since Saturday and hurt like crazy.  My stomach is on a roller-coaster ride, which you can imagine, is not the funnest thing in the world.  Because of all the pressure in my ears, it gives me a headache and I'm super nauseated...man I wish it would just go away :(  I went to the doc, and he just gave me an anti-biotic, some cough syrup, a decongestant, and a corticosteroid...I'm sure I'm driving my poor husband insane!  However, he is the sweetest man in the world and would do anything to make me happy.  Well, that's our most recent update. And, no I'm not pregnant if any of you were wondering ;)

My Husband

Well this last Friday was our 4 month anniversary.  It's 10 o'clock, and I was just thinking about how much I love my husband.  He and I spoke in church on Sunday, and I just had this wonderful overwhelming feeling about how blessed I am to have such a wonderful man for my husband.  And the best part is that I love him more and more every day...and I get to be with him for all eternity!  It's such a wonderful thing!  He is so sweet and perfect to me.  I know that it has only been four months since we have been married, but I can't imagine loving him more.  There is so much that I could say, but sometimes the best feelings in life have no words that are sufficient to describe them; this is one of those feelings.  I'm so glad that we found one another and were able to be sealed for all eternity!  To use a word from Pride and Prejudice - he makes me incandescently happy.  I wake each morning with the incredible feeling of knowing that this man will be with me for always.  And with that I am off to bed.

Never ever underestimate the movers.

Jessica and I purchased some furniture the other day. They came to drop off the couches, but they didn't even try to put them through the door. I decided to be a big macho man, and try to get the couches in myself. Well lets put it like this do you know the Stand Up Sketch by Jerry Seinfeld about how men think there superheros, and try and hold the mattres down on the roof of the cars with there bare hands? Well thats what happen. kinda. My friend Matt and I picked up the couches, and where bringing them back, we got the love seat down and into the house, not a problem it was nice, but then we tried to get the couch in, We started at 6:15ish or so and by 9:10 we had tried over a dozen combinations, and all we got in the door (if anything) was the armrest of the sofa. I have learned a very valuable lesson, never ever underestimate the movers. (and wifes .... never let your husbands let there prides get in the way)

P.S. does anyone need a couch? Its new and we'll move it into you home for free (well if you feed us thats nice too) ....?
